For years before my sons were born, I longed to be a mother. My dreams were shattered by the harsh realities of infertility and miscarriage.
After five years of sadness and loss, God graciously gave us our first healthy son, Orville, now 11 yo. When he was four months old, my husband, Michael, and I learned that Wilbur, now 10 yo, would soon join us!
Providential circumstances have prevented us from having or adopting more children, and mine could be a story of sour grapes. However, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, is the true vine, and my branch instead bears good fruit because it is grafted to Him.
Our olive plants here on earth are few, but we have chosen to educate them round about our table. Olive Plants is our way of life, and this blog is a place for me to tell the stories of my parenting and homeschooling journies. May God be praised!
